Q: How much time would I need to dedicate to this?

A: The more time you're willing to dedicate to your health and fitness goals, the faster you'll see and feel the results. If you only commit to 1 half-hour session a week, you're not going to see the same results as someone who commits 3 one-hour sessions per week. Plus, it's harder to stay focused and motivated with an infrequent schedule. That being said, any time you're willing to invest is better than no time.

Q: How long do sessions typically last?

A: Some people prefer more frequent half-hour sessions to less frequent one-hour sessions. Other people prefer daily 45-minute sessions. Once we discuss your goals, I can offer you my recommendation, but ultimately it depends on you. Everyone's different.

Q: How does pricing work?

A: You can pay per session or per month, the rate dependent on frequency. Contact me for more information.

Q: Are you a doctor?

A: No, I am not a doctor, but I've earned many professional certifications and I routinely refresh my knowledge through workshops and classes. I am committed to helping you reach your fitness goals using the healthiest methods. Before we begin working together, you'll sign a liability release form.

Q: Will I need a gym membership?

A: Not necessarily. Of course, having a gym at your disposal would make reaching your goals a lot easier, but for our sessions, we'll be using one of two studios located in Chicago's West Town. These studios have all the equipment we'll need. For homework, I can assign you exercises based on what resources you have access to.

Q: How hard will you be pushing me?

A: I will provide you with just the right amount of challenge. Pushing yourself too hard isn't healthy. You should never feel sick or terribly sore after a workout. We take it one step at a time.

Q: Do I have to change my diet?

A: Not necessarily. It's important to remember, though, that you cannot out-train a poor diet. Being healthy doesn't mean running a 5k after eating a loaded cheeseburger. It means developing a lifestyle that will sustain a healthy body.

Q: It is a realistic goal to want to look like my high school self?

A: No. The fact is your body changes with time. Your body won't be able to perform like it did ten, twenty, thirty, or forty years ago, and it won't look like that either. But that doesn't mean you can't feel and look healthy and fit. But while it's important to keep realistic goals, you can still make your goals ambitious. For more myth busting, peruse my blog. A: Don't hesitate to get in touch with me. I'll get back to you as soon as I can with answers.
